Landscaping and Irrigation
Requirements
All new construction projects that incorporate landscape and irrigation
work require submittal of Landscape and Irrigation Plans for review and
approval by the City. If no landscape and irrigation work is to be
done, this needs to be noted on the plans. If landscape and
irrigation is to be done at a later date, plans will be submitted then
for an irrigation permit.

Submittal Documents
Here are some sample plans and documents to guide you through your
submittals. Not all of these plans are required - if you can
combine your planting plan and hydrozone plan, that's fine - we just
need to be able to see all of the required information. You will
most likely need, at the minimum: 1) Landscape plan with site
features, plantings, and hydrozones; 2) irrigation plan and details; 3)
hydrozone matrix with design information about each hydrozone.
